Oregon's Dillon Brooks has earned prime real estate in the league; tough swingman w/ a few diff. signature moves: likes to hit off-balance Js, jumpers on the move, cuff layups* & scoops, pull-ups & floaters; three ball is a main source of points, though Brooks must be accounted for in all areas; drives hard, decent finisher at the rim – not the quickest wing, Brooks uses his strong upper body to an advantage, solid w/ his left; needs to further perfect touch from in-between, as well as creating shots for others; needs to work on in-between touch, develop a better rhythm before rising up; great defender – a bit “annoying” & talks a lot of s***: stays in your face/gets under opponents’ skin (uses body play up on guys without fouling nonstop); streaky scorer, calls his own number when a few buckets fall (mixed results); all in all, Brooks is a gamer – doesn't shy away from big moments, embraces the chance for clutch opportunities; signed 4/year deal w/ Rockets (2023): Dillon’s solid play is important to accelerate HOU’s ascension into a playoff team
